What is on each of the two pages
Page one carries the empty grid with the clue numbers already set into the corners of the squares, and the entire clue list, across and down, in four columns beneath it. Nothing is continued overleaf: a puzzle that needs a second sheet in your hand to be solvable is not really printable, so the layout is sized to keep the grid and every clue on the one side. Page two is the filled grid plus the answers listed by number, which means you can print page one on its own for somebody else and keep the key, or print both and check yourself afterwards.
Why a PDF rather than a printed web page
The file is a genuine PDF, drawn as lines and text rather than saved as a picture of a screen, so it stays sharp at any printer setting and the grid keeps its proportions on US Letter. It also fixes the layout: a browser printing a live page will make its own decisions about margins, page breaks and what to shrink, and those decisions change between Chrome, Safari and whatever your library computer runs. The download is the same on all of them.
Printing without downloading
Every puzzle page also has a print button, and Ctrl+P does the same thing. The page then strips back to the blank grid and the clues: navigation, buttons, the footer and any letters you have already typed are all left off the paper, because a half-solved grid is not what somebody reaching for the printer wants. That route gives you the puzzle without the answer key, which is the right choice when you are printing copies for a class or a group and would rather not hand out the solution with them.
